The exhibition match between Ivan Lendl and Jimmy Connors, scheduled for Tuesday in the Huntsman Center, was canceled. The world's No. 1 tennis player told sponsors of the event that following the death of his girlfriend's father last week that he did not feel he could play and pulled out of the event.

Attempts were made to replace Lendl with Henri Leconte, once ranked No. 6 in the world. A spokesperson for United Concerts said, however, it was unable to find a replacement on such short notice. Refunds will be available at the Huntsman Center, the Salt Palace and all Smith's Tix outlets.
