Teachers' workshops on natural history and geology will be offered by the Canyonlands Field Institute in June and July.

Among the courses for which graduate credit is offered:- Active Seeing - Polaroid Teacher's Workshop, June 26-27. Explores visual imagery with applications for learning processes.

- Teaching About the Natural World, June 28-30. Emphasizes how to use wildlife and forest themes in teaching basic subjects.

- Teaching About the Night Sky, July 29-30. Emphasizes teaching astronomy to any grade level.

- Ecology of the Colorado Plateau, July 31-Aug. 6. Examines plant and animal adaptations to desert climates.
