A homeless woman faces a trial July 12 on a charge of criminal mischief in the spray-painting of pillars, statues and walls at the State Capitol.

Nina Diane Mincarelli, 43, appeared Friday before 3rd District Judge Frank Noel and pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony charge.She is accused of spray-painting slogans at the Capitol on Feb. 23. The slogans included "ten minutes for the homeless" and "we want to be heard now."
