Brigham Young University volleyball standout Dylann Duncan has been selected the 1989 recipient of the Leona B. Holbrook Spirit of Sport Award, the most-coveted recognition given by BYU to a female athlete.

Duncan, a 6-foot-3 middle blocker from Salt Lake City, is an electrical engineering major, She has been voted GTE Academic All-American three times and has been a Cougar Club and HCAC scholar-athlete for five years.
