Hold on to your ski passes. Grip the chairlift a little tighter. "Ski Patrol: The Movie" is coming.
Nice Tie Productions, the company that is filming its comedy on the greatest snow on Earth, was recognized by a state proclamation presented by Lt. Gov. Val Oveson."The film commission worked hard to get them here, and with the ski-industry angle, it was a one-two punch, as far as Utah goes," Oveson said. "They're dragging a lot of money in."
The ski film, said to be reminiscent of the "Police Academy" flicks, is one of five movies currently in preproduction phases in Utah. "Ski Patrol" has filmed scenes in Park City, Heber City and at Snowbird, but the only Utah identification will come during the film's credits.
