The man accused of being the figure who led to the gambling investigation of Cincinnati Reds Manager Pete Rose was scheduled to be arraigned today before U.S. Magistrate Robert Steinberg. Ronald Peters, 44, owner of Jonathan's bar-restaurant in Franklin, Ohio, had been arrested by federal authorities on drug and betting charges. Peters has emerged as a central figure in the IRS and Major League Baseball Commissioner's investigation of Rose, the newspaper said.
