Utah State's Craig Carter won both the hammer throw and shot put Saturday to capture the outstanding performer trophy in USU Mark Faldmo Invitational Track and Field Meet. Carter won the hammer with a best throw of 204 feet, 3 inches, and his 54-6 1/4 heave in the shot put gave him another first. But Weber State won the most individual titles with eight, including Dan Baird's double in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
