Park City Ski Resort and the Brighton Ski Bowl have inaugurated a snow shuttle to allow Park City visitors to also ski at the Big Cottonwood Canyon resorts on the other side of the Wasatch Mountains.
"We've begun taking reservations for the Brighton-Park City Shuttle," said Park City Ski Area spokesman Mark Menlove."A limited number of guests will be escorted daily from the top of Park City's Jupiter Bowl, down into Big Cottonwood Canyon, where they will be met by a heated, enclosed snow-coach shuttle."
The shuttle will transport the skiers to the Brighton Ski Bowl base area.
"They will then be able to ski either Brighton or Solitude Ski Area for three hours before meeting the snow shuttle," said Menlove, which will transport them to Scott's Pass where the riders can ski back to Park City.
The tours will depart daily from Park City's Jupiter patrol building at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon, and will return from Brighton at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The cost is $40 per person, which includes a lift pass for both Park City and Brighton. For an extra $10, the riders also will be able to ski at Solitude, he said.
"The Brighton-Park City Shuttle will operate as long as snow conditions allow," Menlove said.
