Two global environmental concerns- destruction of the rain forests and the ozone layer - will be the focus of the Utah Federation of Democratic Women's annual conference April 15.

Dr. Diane Davidson, biology professor at the University of Utah, who has recently returned from a scientific investigation of the rain forests of Peru, will headline the conference. Previous investigations have taken her to Australia, Brazil, New Guinea, Malaysia and Borneo.The conference will be held from 10:30 to 2 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, 215 W. South Temple.
