Red Butte Gardens of the State Arboretum will offer a technicolor display of crocus, iris, squill, tulips. hyacinths, daffodils, narcissus and alliums April through June.
Located at the University of Utah east of Fort Douglas, the botanical garden is open daily from 9 a.m. to sunset. Plants are clearly labeled, and a printed checklist is available at the garden gate or from the arboretum office.The arboretum also offers a Utah Wildflower Hotline, 581-4969, that provides a five-minute recorded message to callers from April 1 to Oct. 31.
Hotline reporters are needed to provide timely wildflower reports from the deserrts and mountains. Interested persons should call Pam Poulson at 581-5322.
