Several changes at Holy Cross Health System facilities in Salt Lake City and Ogden have been announced by Sister Patricia Mulvaney, president and chief executive officer of Holy Cross Health System Corp., South Bend, Ind.

Carl W. Fitch has relinquished his position as president and chief executive officer of HCHS of Utah, a subsidiary of HCHS, and will be assigned to a different leadership position within the system. Daniel J. Wolterman, president of St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden, has been appointed acting president and chief executive officer of HCHCU.Dale St. Arnold, vice president of operations of St. Benedict's, has been appointed hospital president. St. Arnold has served at St. Benedict's since 1987 following completion of of the HCHS David C. Trew health care fellowship program.

Kenneth H. Rock will continue as president of Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City and Holy Cross Jordan Valley Hospital, West Jordan.

From October 1986 to April 1987, Wolterman served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of St. Benedict's Health System during the time of transition to become part of HCHS. He has held several administrative positions with HCHS.

Previous to St. Arnold joining St. Benedict's, he was owner and general manager of Financial and Accounting Services, Tulsa, Okla. He has a bachelor's in business and accounting from Pennsylvania State University and master's degrees in business administration and health administration from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo.
