Two Czechoslovak teenagers were charged Thursday with hijacking an airplane from Prague to Frankfurt and dangerous interference with air traffic, authorities said.

The Frankfurt juvenile court issued the warrants charging the youths following an informal request by the Czechoslovak Embassy that the two be deported to Prague, a West German Justice Department spokesman said. The boys, armed with shotguns and grenades, hijacked a Hungarian airliner in Prague Wednesday and flew with 14 hostages to Frankfurt, where they surrendered without incident.

It was not immediately clear how the charges might affect their possible deportation.
