The field has been determined for the 1989 NCAA Midwest Regional Gymnastics Championships, which will be held at the University of Utah on Saturday.

Utah, which was idle last week, will compete in the evening session at the Huntsman Center as a result of its No. 2 seeding. Other schools in the 7:30 p.m. session include Nebraska, the region's top-ranked team, Oklahoma and Arizona State.The 4 p.m. afternoon session features Utah State, Brigham Young, Arizona and a team of seven at-large all-arounders.

The teams which made the NCAA Midwest Regional field and their regional qualifying scores and seeds are: 1. Nebraska (192.22); 2. Utah (192.06); 3. Oklahoma (190.59); 4. Arizona State (190.37); 5. Arizona (190.13); 6. Utah State (188.30); and 7. Brigham Young (188.02).

Ticket prices are $6 and $4 for reserved seats and $4 and $3 for general admission seats. University students will not be admitted free. Tickets are on sale at the Huntsman Center Ticket office and all Smith's Tix outlets. Call 581-6641 for information.
