The Salt Lake City Parks Department will spray city trees in April to kill aphid eggs on the Norway Maple and Linden trees.

Trees on city streets will be sprayed during the next four weeks between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Trees in city parks and golf courses will be sprayed when public use is minimal.City residents may be asked to move parked vehicles on streets. Parents should keep children away from trees that are being sprayed.
