Mubarak and Fahd are holding talks in Cairo aimed at forumulating a common Arab position on achieving peace in the Middle East. Mubarak, who is scheduled to meet with President Bush in Washington on Monday, held talks Saturday with Jordan's King Hussein and Yasser Arafat, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Mubarak, Hussein, Fahd and Arafat favor an international conference on Middle East peace, which Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir of Israel has opposed.
