Utah Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information leading to the break-up of a burglary gang that has been victimizing Salt Lake businesses.

The burglars pick door locks, cut alarm and phone lines and then steal large quantities of high-tech merchandise such as computer equipment, video recorders and stereos. Police believe the burglars use a van or truck to haul the stolen goods away.Victimized businesses include Footprints, Brite Music, Robotech and American Label.

Anyone with information about the perpetrators is invited to call Crime Solvers, which is offering a reward of up to $1,000.
