A 13-year-old boy watching a basketball game was stabbed to death by one of the players, a state prison parolee who'd been out less than a week, police said.
The boy, Roy Lee Jr., apparently was watching the game Sunday when a fight broke out on the court, said police spokesman Sgt. Raymond O'Donnell. The boy was not involved in the game or the dispute, he said.Witnesses said one of the players ran to a house and returned with a knife.
Lee was stabbed at least three times in the chest and died at a hospital.
Police were looking for Anthony "C.I." Perry, who was released on parole from Attica state prison Wednesday, where he was serving time for armed robbery, police said.
