If you are looking for an opportunity to see, touch and gain new appreciation for animals - the Hogle Zoo invites you to become a docent this summer. Docents are volunteer teachers who form the core of the Zoo's education program.

Docents must be at least 17 and have one morning or afternoon to spend at the zoo each week during the summer. An open house for potential docents will be April 1 at 10 a.m. at the zoo. Training sessions will take place on the following four Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 582-1632 for more information.
