A Utah federal grand jury has handed up a seven-count indictment against a Salt Lake man, charging him with stealing tools he was working with at the Utah Air National Guard.

The indictment against Jack Lowell Sirstens charges him with stealing three tools on April 26, 1988, and four different items four days later.The indictment said the tools included a wrench, a nail gun, gauges and a sump pump.

Prosecutors said Sirstens was in custody at the Salt Lake County Jail, serving time on an unrelated state conviction.
