The Summit County Commission has approved issuing $10 million in industrial revenue bonds to help a Southern California aerospace company build a plant north of Park City.

Western Gear of the City of Industry, Calif., wants to manufacture aircraft components at the plant, which it will lease from property owner Bob Larsen, the commission said.Revenues from the operation will be used to pay off the bonds. Western Gear officials said they hope to eventually employs about 200 workers at the plant.
