The Ballroom Dance Company of Brigham Young University will take center stage at the Marriott Center at 7:30 p.m. March 24 and 25 for an "All-American Entertainment Show, a kaleidoscope of color, movement and sound for audiences young and old."

Tickets are $6, $5 for students and children, at the Marriott Center, 378-BYU1, or in Salt Lake City, 363-BYU1.Lee and Linda Wakefield, the United States formation champions and twice professional theatrical champions, will perform "The Impossible Dream," which gave them their second U.S. theatrical championship in 1984. "Roy Mavor, the first ballroom artistic director at BYU, choreographed this number for himself and his wife," said Wakefield, artistic director for the BYU team. "He then passed the dance to Linda and me."

A razzle-dazzle "New York, New York" will open the show, followed by a variety of ballroom and Latin American rhythms, including a repeat of the '40s Andrews Sisters hit, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," and the concluding "Espana."
