The King is alive. Not Elvis, but Macbeth is alive and well at Canyon Crest Elementary School, where the drama club will present William Shakespeare's "Macbeth" March 20 at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. and March 21 at 1:30 and 7 p.m.

Students participating in the play are fourth, fifth and sixth graders, who have spent many hours accustoming themselves to the Old English dialogue. The drama club has more than forty students, all of whom will be helping with the scenery, music, lighting and acting.Director for the play is fifth grade teacher Mahlon Grass, with Terri Donaldson, a second grade teacher, assisting. With so many students involved, two complete casts will participate.
