Frank Fredericks of BYU continued his dominance of both the men's 100 and 200 meter dashes by placing first in both events at the Willie Williams Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Fredericks, who qualified for the NCCA Outdoor Championships in both events during the qualifying round on Friday, won the 100-meter with a time of 10.40 and finished the 200-meter at 20.92.The Cougars were led in the hurdle events by Shawn McAlmont, who won the 400-meter hurdles.

BYU also dominated the pole vault, led by freshman brothers Lane and Lance White who finished one and two with vaults of 16-63/4.

Joining the men's team at the Willie Williams Classic was the women's track team from BYU. The women were led by Nicole Burke, who won the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:01.40.
