BYU All-Americans K.C. Cline and Courtney Nelson failed to make their final cuts in Saturday's NCAA national swimming and diving championships. However, Nelson received an All-America award for 14th place in the platform diving preliminaries, scoring 294.75.

Cline, swimming in the 200-yard backstroke trials, missed the cut with a time of 2:04.04 to place 21st. Both Cline and Nelson received All-America awards Friday, Cline in the 100 backstroke and Nelson in the three-meter diving.
