BYU swept a conference doubleheader Friday over Hawaii, 15-3 and 8-7 behind the pitching of juniors Darin Kracl and John DeSilva.

Kracl went the seven-inning distance in the 15-3 victory, while freshman Clinton Kelson of Heber City took the loss for the Rainbows. Kracl was aided by shortstop Jeff Howes and second baseman Paul Cluff, who each had three runs batted in. DeSilva was one batter shy of going the seven-inning distance in the 8-7 victory.BYU's record is 13-5 overall and 2-1 in the Western Athletic Conference.
