Utah State Society Daughters of the American Revolution elected officers recently. Mrs. Hurschell G. Urie, Ogden, was elected state regent. Serving with Urie in 1989-92 are: Mrs. Lavell Bracken, Mrs. V.J. Wimmer, Mrs. Fred Astroth, Mrs. John Woodmansee, Mrs. Hans Hansen, Mrs. Charles Cavognolo and Mrs. Thomas Hansen, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Thomas Feeny, Ogden; Mrs. Wade Southam, Vernal; and Mrs. Ralph Olsen, Provo.

Urie will be installed in April at the National Society's 98th Continental Congress in Washington, D.C., when national officers are elected and installed to serve during the Centennial Jubilee. The other state officers were installed by Mrs. Raymond F. Fleck, president general, at their weekend conference.NSDAR was founded on Oct. 11, 1890.
