Gump and Ayers Real Estate Inc. will hold a special promotion this month and April to benefit the group home and day treatment programs at the Children's Center, where emotionally disturbed children receive help.

It will celebrate the company's 30th anniversary and include 1,000 open houses and three drawings for cash that can be used toward home purchases. The culmination of the activity will be a benefit concert by impressionist and comedian Rich Little and the Jerry Floor Big Band from Salt Lake City in Symphony Hall April 9 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 for the concert only and $50 for the concert and a post-concert VIP reception.

Jerry Floor, G&A president, said this event last year was successful and the company donated $10,000 to the center. "We hope to exceed that amount this year and give the public some great homebuying opportunities," he said.

On the four weekends prior to the concert, G&A will hold 1,000 open houses along the Wasatch Front where entries for three $5,000 cash prizes to be used toward home purchases can be obtained.

Tickets for the Rich Little concert can be purchased at all G&A offices and open houses. Locations of the open houses will be listed in the classified sections of daily newspapers.

Other sponsors of the event include American Airlines and the Red Lion Hotel.
