A Salt Lake man has pleaded not guilty to federal prostitution charges.

Paul Wach, 27, and his partner, Randy Pollock, 25, face a May 18 trial before U.S. District Judge David K. Winder on a one-count indictment charging them with transportation of a minor for sexual activity. The indictment says that Wach, who owned a local escort service, arranged for a girl under the age of 18 to go to a Wendover, Nev., hotel to perform sex for hire. Pollock allegedly drove the girl to the hotel, according to the charges.

Wach, according to recent court testimony, has not been ruled out in the Dec. 13 death of Dee Dee Wach, 19, who was shot at close range in the chest with a shotgun in front of her parents' home in Kearns.
