Two top spikers - a junior college All-American and the Idaho state high school tournament MVP - will join the Cougar volleyball team next year.

Becky Molan, a 6-0 middle blocker from Phoenix attended Mesa Comunity College, where she received All-American honors after her sophomore season. She led the team in hitting, blocking, service aces and service reception.A versatile athlete, Molan was a Converse All-American in basketball at Arcadia High School and holds the Arizona state record for points and rebounds. She was named prep All-State in basketball and state 3A MVP in volleyball following her senior year.

Carol Schuman, a 6-2 middle blocker from Preston High School in Preston, Idaho, is a two time Class A2 First Team All-Stater in volleyball. She averaged nearly 75 percent hitting and 10-12 blocks in her senior season and hit 78 percent through the Idaho State tournament. She was voted MVP of the A2 tourney and the Wood River Tournament. She carries close to a 4.0 GPA.
