Two Salt Lake convenience stores were robbed at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

Lt. Joel Campbell said a man who pointed a small silver pistol at the cashier at Top Stop, 1306 S. 21st East, got away with $250 during the 8:30 p.m. robbery.At about 9 p.m., a man displaying a small .22-caliber revolver with bone grips robbed Star Foods, 504 S. Ninth East, and fled with about $50 cash, he said.
