Several Korean trade officials will visit Utah to explain their policy of import diversification under the recent liberalized import regulations and demonstrate how Utah businesses may increase Korean market opportunities for their product.

They will hold a workshop March 15 in the University Park Hotel. There is no charge for the workshop, but reservations must be made by March 8 with the Utah International Business Development Office at 538-3052.Leading the delegation will be Hwang Doo-Young, director general of the Korean Ministry of Trade and Industry, who will outline recent policy changes in his government's regulations. Im In-Joo, vice president of the Korean Trade Promotion Corp., will discuss how the program of liberalization may open market opportunities for Utah businesses.
