A French poodle has lived to bark about a leap of at least 85 feet from one of Monroe County's tallest buildings.

"She's only got a little sprain in her neck that we can tell," said Bill Moore, owner of the registered poodle named "My Girl Missmoore."The dog, which weighs only a few pounds and accompanies Moore nearly everywhere, jumped from the roof of the four-story Frontier Building last Thursday, landing on snow-covered grass about 15 feet from the base of building.

"The dog was in a state of shock. Its mouth was all blue, but that turned out to be basically all," Moore said, who had the dog examined by a veterinarian. "It had no broken bones, no other signs of visible injury."
