Israeli troops Tuesday reimposed a curfew on Nablus, the occupied West Bank's largest city, and barred outsiders from entering the city.

The action came only a day after the lifting of a curfew in which the 100,000 residents were kept indoors for 10 days after the killing of an Israeli soldier by Palestinians.Residents contacted by telephone said soldiers renewed the curfew during the night and closed the city of more than 100,000 to outsiders. The army had no immediate comment.
