The U.S. Forest Service will hold an open house on Tuesday for those individuals interested in learning the outcome of an environmental assessment on proposed changes in the Brighton Ski Area.

The open house will be from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Salt Lake Ranger District Office, 6944 S. 3000 East.This will be an informal meeting with Forest Service officials and consultants present to answer questions and explain issues.

Brighton's plan calls for the moving of one lift, the installation and extension of a new lift, development of new beginning ski areas, replacement of the existing ski school, changing of ticketing and bus terminal facilities, relocating the trailhead for Brighton Lakes trail and relocating an access road.
