Universal Press Syndicate, the distributor of "Fox Trot," believes that the cartoons honestly portray the role drugs play in some young people's lives. Release date has been timed to coincide with "Newspaper in Education Week."The Deseret News hopes that readers will not be offended by portions of the comic since the overall message of the week's strip is anti-drug.

Parents may be able to use this week's "Fox Trot" as a lead-in to a discussion about drugs with their children.
