Prosecutors lowered the curtain Friday on Broadway producer Adela Holzer, charging her with bilking investors or more than $1 million by posing as the wife of David Rockefeller Sr. and promising to invest their money with him.

Holzer, 54, who has been involved with such shows as "Hair," "The Ritz" and "Lenny," kept a photograph of Rockefeller beside her bed in her posh seven-room apartment on the East Side and showed investors forged marriage certificates, District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said.Investigators arrested her Thursday as she returned from an American Express office, where she apparently bought an airline ticket to flee the country, authorities said.

She was charged with grand larceny, which carries a maximum prison term of 15 years, by stealing more than $280,000 from two investors. However, investigators identified at least 26 people who may have been swindled.
