A man who died of hypothermia after a snowmobiling expedition in the Uinta Mountains has been identified as Isom J. Henry, 31, of Salt Lake City.

Searchers found Henry Monday morning. He died about four hours later after being taken by helicopter to LDS Hospital for treatment.Henry was reported missing by two companions. The last time he was seen alive was Saturday afternoon near the turnoff to Whitney Reservoir. His snowmobile was located late Sunday afternoon about four miles away from the turnoff.

Searchers from Summit and Uintah counties combed the area throughout the weekend. The search was called off for a short time due to limited visibility.
