A former Utahn died in a Fort Collins, Colo., hospital Tuesday from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.

Robert James Hadley, 28, of Lakewood, Colo., was driving south into Fort Collins on I-25 about 10:55 p.m. Monday when he lost control and ran off the left side of the road into the median, said Colorado State Patrol dispatcher Linda Erbes. The vehichle rolled 31/4 times, before Hadley was ejected and thrown across the northbound lanes of the highway.He was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital, where he died at 7 a.m. Tuesday as a result of head injuries.

Hadley was a 1979 graduate of Cottonwood High School.
