A Sandy woman, charged with vehicle homicide after the car she was driving rolled Sept. 26 and fatally injured one passenger, was bound over Tuesday to 3rd District Court.

Appearing in 5th Circuit Court in West Valley City, Faylene M. Heard, 23, 1869 Pelton Drive, waived her right to a preliminary hearing. Her attorney, Bradley Rich, told Judge Tyrone E. Medley he expected to strike a plea bargain with prosecutors that would reduce the third-degree felony to a class A misdemeanor.The complaint against Heard says she was driving a car 60 mph in a 20 mph zone with a blood-alcohol level of .19, more than twice the legal limit of .08, when her car went out of control and rolled at 6000 W. 54th South.

Lori Anderson, one of four passengers in the car, was critically injured and died five days later.
