The Utah County Spring Crops Meeting, sponsored by the Utah State University Cooperative Extension Service, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon March 3 in Room 700 of the County Administration Building.

USU agronomist Ralph Whitesides will discuss alfalfa varieties and Brigham Young University Agronomy Department Chairman Dwain Horrocks will talk about silage and grain corn varieties.USU cereal grain breeder Rulon Albrechtsen will discuss spring wheat, barley and oat varieties. USU entomologist Jay Karren will talk about the Russian wheat aphid and its impact in Utah County and will suggest control strategies.
