On Sunday, Marc Girardelli became the first person to win all four skiing disciplines in the same season when he won the final World Cup men's super-giant slalom.

The stocky Girardelli, a native of Austria who skis for Luxembourg, swept down the 39-gate Whistler Mountain course in 1 minute, 39.84 seconds. Lars-Boerje Eriksson of Sweden was second and Pirmin Zurbriggen of Switzerland was third.
