Lloyd Honeyghan was fined $1,500 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission Saturday for using a pain-killer during his World Boxing Council title fight against to Marlon Starling on Feb. 4.

A postfight test showed traces of lidocaine, which Honeyghan said he used because of his right hand, which has a pin in it. The British boxer said he has used the drug for four fights, but this is the first time he tested positive for it.Honeyghan lost his title when he was stopped by Starling in the ninth round at Caesars Palace.
