Anytown, Utah, USA, a seven-day summer camp experience in idealism for high school students from all races and religions, is scheduled Aug. 13-19 at Camp Roger in the High Uintahs.
The camp is for students who will be high school sophomores, juniors or seniors during the 1989-90 school year.Anytown, sponsored by the Utah Chapter of the National Conference of Christian and Jews, enhances the campers' self-esteem, family relations, leadership skills, inter-racial understanding, citizenship and communication skills.
"Anytown USA began more than 30 years ago, and is now an annual youth activity in 23 states," said Joan Smith, camp recruiting coordinator for Utah. "The magic of Anytown is the diversity of the youth, and the learning to live together challenge."
