A Tennessee man was found guilty Friday of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a University of Utah student last fall.

After deliberating about three hours, a 3rd District Court jury returned the verdict Friday morning, finding Marshall G. Jones, 18, guilty of one count of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated sexual assault.The jury found that Jones accosted a woman, 22, in the parking lot outside Milton Bennion Hall the night of Oct. 20, brandished a screwdriver, and forced her to drive him in her car to the area of Second South and Eighth East, where he sexually assaulted her twice.
