The Navy suspended former Unisys Corp. employees Robert Barrett and Joseph Hill and defense consultant Wilborn Sanda from further government work Friday in connection with the Pentagon procurement scandal.

Barrett and Hill pleaded guilty Jan. 27 to criminal charges stemming from a scheme to launder illegal corporate campaign contributions through others associated with defense contractor Unisys Corp. to members of Congress.Barrett and Hill were charged with laundering money to influential Reps. Bill Chappell, D-Fla., Roy Dyson, D-Md., Bill Dickinson, D-Ala., and Richard Ray, D-Ga. - all members of the House Armed Services Committee in 1987 and 1988 - and to Sen. Jim Sasser, D-Tenn.
