The Lakers' Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's all-time leading scorer and in his prime professional basketball's most feared gunslinger, was given a Western sendoff by the Jazz Wednesday during his farewell tour presentation at halftime. Jabbar received a cowboy hat, a Browning Winchester commemorative edition rifle, a rattlesnake-skin belt and cowboy jacket. He was also sworn in as a special deputy of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. He didn't fare nearly as well on the court, however, scoring just six points - none in the second half - as the Lakers were drubbed, 105-79.
