Daffodil Days will again feature the spring flower of hope in the fight against cancer. During March 13-18 the flowers will be flown in by Delta Airlines and truckers will donate their time to deliver the flowers to the American Cancer Society units throughout the state. ACS volunteers will take advance orders during February for the flowers.

Businesses and employers are encouraged to order flowers to be given to employees, customers, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. A bouquet of 10 will sell for $3.Volunteers in the South Valley ACS Unit will contact the businesses in the cities between West Jordan and Bluffdale. Orders may also be given to Agnes Chidester and Mike Sessions in Riverton, or the American Cancer Society office, 322-0431.

Money raised from "Daffodil Days" will help support programs of research, public education and awareness, patient services, professional training and public information.
