Houses appear to be floating in the fog in this photograph, taken Tuesday morning in Farmington west of I-15 near the Great Salt Lake. Fog also enveloped the Provo Airport. But visibility at Salt Lake City International Airport, where the morning low temperature was 24 degrees at 7 a.m., was much better. Early morning commuters enjoyed a full moon, named the "Snow Moon" because of snow that falls during February in the northeastern United States. William J. Alder, meteorologist in charge of the Salt Lake office of the National Weather Service, said the weather will be mainly dry throughout Utah during the rest of the week.
