THE IRISH REPUBLICAN ARMY HAS CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE BOMBING OF BRITAIN'S 2ND BATTALION PARACHUTE REGIMENT BARRACKS NEAR SHREWSBURY. THREE EXPLOSIONS ROCKED THE COMPLEX EARLY MONDAY. ONLY MINUTES BEFORE THE BOMBS WENT OFF, NEARLY 300 BRITISH SOLDIERS WERE EVACUATED FROM THE FACILITY. AS A RESULT, ONLY ONE INJURY HAS BEEN REPORTED.
