Mike Weir of Brigham Young sank a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Saturday to give the Cougars a one-stroke win over Houston Baptist in the 17th annual Pan American International Golf Tournament.

Weir, who led the tournament's individual competition all three days, clinched the team title for BYU on the final hole of the 54-hole tournament. BYU finished the 54 holes at 888, followed by Houston Baptist at 889.
